About Us

I am originally from Cuba, born and raised in Havana City where I attended the Highest Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana – Instituto Superior de Ciencias Médicas de la Habana – where I graduated with a Medical Degree and following that I completed a residency in Urology and practice as a Specialist in Clinical and Surgical Urology for 10 years.

While working as a general Urologist I studied Medical Acupuncture and Auricular Acupuncture, incorporating this as an alternative approach to my medical practice.

I emigrated to United States with my family due to political issues and settled in Hastings, Nebraska.

I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Highest Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed an internship in Beijing, China at Tongren and Guang An men teaching hospitals affiliated with Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I am a National Board-Certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Nebraska and also hold an additional certification in Auriculotherapy and Auriculoacupuncture from the Auriculotherapy Certification Institute.

Working in both western and oriental medicine has provided me with a unique perspective which I always carry in my practice.
